This blog entry is made from my hotel room in Guangzhou. I shall be returning to Hong Kong tomorrow morning.

Unexpectedly, this trip has been extremely fruitful. Apart from meeting the company staff here, I have picked up a new interest in the area of Ziwei Astrology. While I have already been sufficiently exposed in areas of religious, occult and western numerology / astrology methods, this form of Chinese astrology fascinates me to no end.

Thanks to us living in the age of Infotech, I need not go through the trouble to but books and browse through hundreds of pages to grasp the topic. Instead, calculation softwares and a bunch of e-books kept me entertained throughout my stay here in GZ.

I have always fought a battle within – whether we live in a random world or a world of cause and effect. I guess I have not found the answer here either, but it opened my mind to a new paradigm, one that moderates between randomness and cause / effect. I love the way the life charts and tables here so interestingly integrates the various aspects of human life, as if it were an interwoven fabric of material and immaterial aspects. All the hail wise ancients!

Of course, I am never a wasteful person, and I wouldn’t fork out 2 days of hotel stay for nothing. Apart from a newfound hobby, the main agenda of this trip manifested (finally), into a physical plan. Finally, after laying business entites all over the world, I am looking at the China Market, one that has been laid right before me but I simply didn’t have the energy to attend to.

Since my wife is from China, and I will be based here for a long long time, it is only right that I develop something here. It will be done! Coincidentally, I helped a person who is has gave me, and continues to give me endless trouble. I guess I am out of my mind, by oh well, forgiving is part of life, isn’t it?

Some photos taken from this trip (I really don’t have time for photos here).
