  • Weird Dreams
    Sunday, December 23, 2007

Last night was an entire series of weird dreams, dreams that don’t make a lot of sense, but somehow (and rarely), I remember them so vividly. Let me try to recap one by one:

    1) I was a Merman

In this dream, as the title says, I was a merman. The only difference between the physical compositions of me in this dream is that I can morph the fish tail into legs when I hit dry land, which makes me amphibious.

Along with me were 3 mermaids:

Mermaid 1 – Tall and elegant, with blue hair. I don’t recall her saying anything at all in the dream.

Mermaid 2 – Normal height, with sizeable breasts, the more obliging and helpful kind of person.

Mermaid 3 – Your typical hot girl in town kind of person. Smaller frame (like Asians), most talkative.

This dream was really quite pointless. Neither of the mermaids resembled anyone I know or read of, and the 4 of us just swam from place to place, making fun of people, teasing beach-goers (the guys). Ok I don’t do the teasing, I just stand aside while the 3 “girls” have their fun.

    2) I was Married and moved into a weird condo.

This is the only dream in which I knew the people within. This dream starts with me in a funeral, the funeral of someone up the family tree with whom I should be quite close to (grandfather or something).

Apparently he died after discovering a new form of energy (the energy is generated by the cooling process, rather than the usual heating process). The funeral was big, and somehow my OCS platoon mate become by brother, my other schoolmates became my other siblings (and in laws), and a certain friend of mine became my wife.

So after the funeral I went home with my supposed wife, and the condo had a really weird lift. The lift was live a room (which means it has various rooms within), and it moved in a rather dangerous manner (never mind that since it didn’t crash).

Somehow this episode revolved a lot around my “wife”. It was actually very comforting to have a wife. Ok I know I sound like an idiot here, but yes, it was a really heartwarming feeling.

    3) Very Interesting House

Ok now I live in a house, some sort of Japanese style terrace which looks like the drawing below. The 2 stories of space was sheltered and curtained, housing an interior which looks like a Japanese garden with a sakura tree and a little hut within. The hut is my room, with 1 bed and 1 toilet.

The whole place had a very zen feel, and here I did not have a wife, but a woman (like those Japanese warriors in the past, who used to patron brothels and have a fixed girl tagged to them), except that this time the woman had to come over.

There isn’t anything particularly interesting about this episode, but the architecture of my “house” was so unique I had to draw it out. Maybe this will be the design for my hours next time.

Apart from all the above, I actually dreamt inside my dream. That however, is too complicated to illustrate here. I slept for about 12 hours in total, maybe more. This is truly an experience of a lifetime.
