After the monthly get-together at SMU, the bunch of us (I shall refer to as the “Inner Circle”), decided to have karaoke for a change, instead of the usual DOTA sessions. Actually karaoke was really my idea (I think), since I have not gotten over the Super Star Avenue craze.
After 2.5 hours of ripping our vocals apart, we decided to have supper at the usual Teo Hong area, Baloony’s only supper recommendation. It was then when it suddenly dawned upon us, we were 4 lonely guys, attractiveness enough in social terms, but terribly under-exposed to the other gender.
The next 4 hours were spent trying to come out with a solution to our common problem, and perhaps the problem of all single entrepreneurs who spend all their time on business and only business. The solutions derived were, both grand and humorous. Since it’s meant to be kept in high confidentiality, I’d better not spill the beans here. It’s fun, nevertheless, to see if it will actually be out to action.
My day continued into Saturday, my meeting with the VC lined-up, and my state of mind quite worn after running without rest for 48 hours. Thankfully, I managed to pull of a decent presentation, and from the looks of it we’re ready to move on to stage 2 of the negotiations.
Mexican lunch was filling; courtesy of my Chinese friend who could not thank me enough for the presentation (though I really don’t think it was anything great). Hibernated for a good 20 hours, and now I’m back to my vampiric schedule.
