Think I should set up a travel club amongst the more overseas inclined group of my friends. Of course, they must at least have an income from somewhere to fund such a lifestyle. Budget sirlines have made it cheap to travel for nearby destinations, of which I am familiar with a few. As such, if we set aside about 300 bucks (flight plus accomodation) a month, we can safely go for monthly trips to places like:
- China (Shenzhen, Macau, HK)
- Thailand (Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai)
- Vietnam (Haven't been there, I think)
Basically anywhere on the itinery of the budget airlines.
I am already taking up this habit of flying a month. Will start again in late february once Asian Aerrospace is over (got this damn project up to my neck).
Current Flight Plan:
Late Feb / Early March - Thailand (Bangkok), 4D/3N
March - Macau, Zhuhai, Shenzhen, 4D/3N
May - Somewhere in China (Undecided)
Those who wanna join up can email me @
advenren@yahoo.com. I'll volunteer to be trip administrator and tour guide. Don't join if your thinking of luxury trips, for I'm always staying at 3 star hotels. If your our for a luxurious hotel room and facilities, I suggest you find one locally.
Cheers!
